Pilates Blast Class

This class incorporates Reformer, Bosu, Mat and Ball to totally shape your body and work you from the inside out. The reviews are fabulous and so is the workout! Terri will push you to the limit on Mondays @ 6:30pm. Better call soon to get your spot in this class.

Intermediate Bosu/Ball

Traditionally a bosu class, the addition of the ball may literally knock you off your feet. Maura takes you through a workout on Thursdays that will have your abs talking to you all weekend.

Essential

This class is for those with little or no experience with Pilates. It is also appropriate for people with low back pain or injuries. Focus is on the Basic Principles, abdominal control, breathing, posture and basic body awareness. Learn how to use abdominal muscles you didn’t even know you had. (Limit 10)

Intermediate

For students who are familiar with the Essential Pilates exercises, those with a moderately high level of fitness and for those who wish to progress and enhance their practice. Focus is on improving body control, fluidity and pace. (Limit 10)

Mat Circuit

Sculpt the body by incorporating a variety of light equipment. This new classes will boost muscular endurance. Shape the body with an intense workout using the Fitness Circle® resistance ring, the Foam Rollers, Flex bands, toning balls and other small equipment. This is a power driven workout for those that have completed an Essential 1+ or Intermediate Mat class.

Circuit Training

A challenging workout that includes varying rotations on the mat, reformer, Bosu, foam roller, and ball. This class is ideal for those with a moderate level of fitness. Prerequisites: Essential Mat and/or Reformer 1. (Limit 5)

Reformer I

This popular class takes the principles and exercises of the Essential Mat to a new level. Learn how to strengthen, lengthen and improve the mind-body connection on the Reformer. (Limit 5)

Reformer 1+

Moving on through the Essential and Intermediate repertoire, the Reformer 1+ and 2 classes increase the challenge on core strength & coordination, take the pace up and provide a vigorous total body workout.



Our adult classes are open to participants 16 and over. Exercise modifications are presented according to individual?s abilities.

Reformer 2 Jump

This high intensity, advanced workout takes the traditional Reformer exercises to a new level. Incorporating intermediate & advanced reformer exercises plus the fabulous new Jumpboards, this class will make you sweat! We combine plyometrics, core strengthening and coordination for a total body workout that is effective and FUN!

Walking Pilates

Walk on to fitness with this energizing fusion class that merges cardio and Pilates for a unique workout. This Essential level class is designed to slim and firm the entire body while getting the heart rate up. It’s the perfect choice for those who want to lose weight safely and effectively without putting any stress on the joints. (Limit 10)

Go Cardio

This class takes the Pilates principles and bumps up the pace. Using Bosus, Jumpboards, Skipping ropes and other small equipment, you’ll get the heart rate up. Higher intensity interval training will help you make quick and noticeable gains in endurance and strength. This class puts the energy back into cardio workouts with a constant focus on the core.

Prenatal Pilates

The focus is on resistance training in this safe & effective specialized matwork class. You will build overall strength, especially through the midback, pelvic floor and deep abdominals. We will work with your body’s postural changes and prepare you for post-partum resumption of Pilates. This class leaves you feeling strong, energized, and supported. Pregnancy never felt so good! Pilates Fit recommends that all pregnant women should exercise with the permission of their physician or midwife.
